RBL Bank usually dispatches a new credit card through post or courier to your registered mailing address. However, unlike earlier days, you may not find the card's PIN along with the card.
The credit card PIN would be sent separately to your mailing address. In case, you haven't received one, you can generate the PIN on your own using any one of the above mentioned channels.
When the bank dispatches the card, it's already in active state. However, a PIN is required to start using it. Therefore, once you generate the PIN and use it for any PIN-required transactions such as at ATMS, retail terminals or online purchases, your RBL credit card gets activated automatically.
RBL Bank currently offers three different methods to generate RBL credit card PIN.
RBL bank credit card customers without internet access can call RBL bank credit card customer care to generate their credit card PIN.
Step 1 - Generate TPIN for RBL Phone Banking: RBL bank credit cardholders can either use the registered mobile number or any other mobile/landline to call RBL customer care.
Make sure to remember the TPIN while keeping it private and confidential.
Step 2 - Generate RBL Bank credit card PIN: Once you have your TPIN ready, you can set your RBL credit card PIN.
Once your PIN request is approved, you can start using the same PIN for all your card transactions that require a PIN. However, make sure to keep your PIN confidential and private.
If you don't have access to RBL internet banking, you can generate your credit card PIN by visiting RBL website. Mentioned below are the steps to generate RBL credit card PIN online.
Once the OTP is validated, you will see the message that the PIN has been set successfully.
RBL Bank offers RBL MyCard Mobile App, an exclusive app for RBL bank credit card customers. By downloading the app, you can pay bills, check statements, view previous activity, pay EMI and raise service requests.
Generating credit card PIN using a mobile app is simple and easy. You can login to the app by providing your RBL bank credit card details and can set credit card IPIN instantly. Follow the instructions to generate new PIN for your RBL bank credit card.
On successful generation of the PIN, your mobile screen will show a message that the PIN has been successfully set. You can start using the same PIN for all your future credit card transactions.
To change or reset existing PIN for your RBL bank credit card you can use any one of the below mentioned options.
You can use the same PIN generation page of RBL bank website - www.rblbank.com/creditcard-pin-change to set PIN for your add-on credit card as well. In the date of birth column, enter the DOB of primary card member instead of add-on cardholder's DOB.
In case of renewal RBL bank credit cards, you can continue using previous card's PIN. However, if you wish to change the PIN, you can generate a new PIN using any one of the above-mentioned methods.
Before generating a PIN for a blocked RBL bank credit card, you need to unblock it. You can unblock the RBL bank credit card either through RBL mobile app or by calling RBL bank customer care helpline.
Once your card is unblocked, you can generate the PIN on the same call or by visiting the RBL bank PIN generation page.
