    Standard Chartered Credit Card Balance Transfer

    If you have a higher-than-usual outstanding balance on a card from another bank, then you can transfer the amount to your SCB card. This will help you save on your interest and repay the amount faster. You can transfer up to Rs.5 lakh to an SCB card at 0.99% per month for the initial 6 months. I got the limit of Rs. 40000 earlier my limit was only Rs. 20000 after completion of 5 years, they have increased upto Rs. 40000. I'm not paying any annual fee for this credit card. I do pay my bill through NEFT Transaction.

The credit limit was provided of 1.25L but now they have decreased the limit to around 59K. It is a platinum card. They offered a annual fee of 800 rupees. At the time of taking the card, they told me that i will be getting a fuel sur charges waiver but i couldn't avail till now hence I'm planning to close the card. They will put on hold in IVR for almost 3 minutes before the call get connected with the executive which is not fair.

      I have used Standard Chartered bank credit card once, after that have given a request to discontinue the card but the staffs are not supportive and they forced me to use the card for one more year. The yearly charges are Rs. 250 which i didn't pay hence they themselves blocked the card by saying customer did not pay the annual fee due to this my credit score has been reduced.

      I am holding STANDARD CHARTERED credit card more than 6 years. I applied this card through the representative. Annual charge is there and it have some waiver off, if i spend Rs. 50k in a year no charges are applicable. EMI conversion is available if i purchase Rs. 2000 i can convert into EMI and also it have a drop down like pay for 6 months, 12 months. The credit limit is sufficient of 98K. Rewards program was Fabulous, if i spend Rs. 100, i am getting 5-7 points and more over shopping like Adidas, Nike, Pantaloons, shopper stop where i can convert my points into cash directly overall its simply superb. Credit limit is good.

      I had a credit card from Standard Chartered bank and i have closed the same. They had a scheme which was not intimated to me, my card was upgraded every year and they do charged me Rs. 2000. When i checked they told me to call the customer care to stop this renewal process which I didn't do again they have charged me Rs. 2000 as a renewal fee. I never received statements also. Then i sent a mail to their team, they have charged some interest for Rs. 2000 finally it was accumulated upto Rs. 20000. Finally they are asking me to pay this full amount of Rs. 20000 to close the card to take a NOC letter.
