Your payment will reflect in 2 business days. However, to make over the counter payment, you will be charged Rs.100 plus service tax for the cash payment.
If you wish to make your Tata credit card payment using a cheque, make a cheque in favour of Tata Credit Card ‘Card Number’ and drop it in any electronic drop boxes located close to you. The e-drop boxes are arranged at various SBI bank branches, you can visit any one of them and drop your cheque.
If your credit card bill amount is less than Rs.2,000, a fee of Rs.100 will be charged on all cheque payments. It will take 4 days to process the transaction.
If you don’t find any electronic cheque drop box in your location, you can drop the cheque made in favour of your Tata credit card in any SBI manual drop box. SBI has more than 1,300 cheque drop boxes located at various branches and SBI ATMs. You can find the list on SBI’s website.
Mention your Tata Card no as payee name on the cheque and write your name and phone number on the back side of the cheque. Mention the payment amount correctly, sign properly and drop it in your nearest drop box. The SBI drop box clearance timings are 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Mon to Fri) and 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
