    Documents required

    Lost or stolen card liabilities

    In the case of theft or loss of your credit card, immediately report the incident to the bank. To report the incident, call IndusInd customer service toll-free number at 1860 267 7777. You will not be held liable for any unauthorised transactions made using your card from the time of reporting. The report has to be filed along with a copy of the police complaint.

    Terms and Conditions of insurance policy

    IndusInd Bank offers insurance cover for lost card liability and counterfeit card liability. The terms and conditions of the insurance policy are as follows:

    • Lost card liability: Unauthorised transactions made 2 days prior to reporting and 7 days post reporting are covered. Claim has to be reported within 15 days from the date of loss of card. Insurance benefit is available only for active card users.
    • Counterfeit card liability: Your claim has to be reported within 15 days from the statement (containing disputed counterfeit transaction details) issue date.
