    IndusInd Bank has launched India's first two chip credit cum debit card which is loaded with two magnetic stripes and two EMV chips to offer you the functionalities of both credit and debit cards. The card also comes with several offers across categories like travel, entertainment, and lifestyle. The card comes at a joining fee of Rs.249.

      • You earn 1 reward point for every Rs.150 that you spend through your IndusInd Bank Duo Credit Card.

    How to use IndusInd Duo Card?

    As the Duo Card is the first-of-its-kind Card in India, you might be wondering how to use the card. Well, the card comes with two EMV Chips, one is for credit card and another is for a debit card. One EMV chip with a blue coloured arrow on the left-hand side of the card is the ATM/Debit Card chip, and the other chip on the right side with a yellow coloured arrow is the credit card chip. Even on the backside of the Duo card, you will find two magnetic stripes and two CVVs, one on the top for ATM/Debit card usage and the other below for credit card usage. You will also find two different numbers printed on the card, the number on the left side of the card is the debit card number and the one on right is the credit card number.

    With two chips and magnetic stripes, it could be little confusing for the using the card, especially at the merchant terminals. Once you know how to use it, you can guide them to use the card properly. Explained below is the process to use your Duo card as a credit card and debit card at different places.

    How to use IndusInd Duo Card as a Credit Card?

    You can use the Duo card as a Credit Card at point-of-sale (POS) terminals, for online transactions, and also for cash withdrawals.

    • Using IndusInd Bank Duo Card as a credit card at point-of-sale terminals
      • Insert the card into the card slot of the POS machine from the credit card side (yellow arrow) and then enter the PIN of the credit card.
      • For paying at PIN POS merchant and non-chip terminals, swipe the card from the credit card side and then enter the credit card PIN.
    • Using IndusInd Bank Duo Card as a credit card for online transactions
      • Enter the credentials of your credit card (CVV, card number, expiry date) on the merchant website.
      • Authenticate the transaction through the One Time Password (OTP) that you will receive on your registered email address/mobile number. You can also authenticate it through Verified By Visa (VBV) password.
    • Using IndusInd Bank Duo Card as a credit card for cash withdrawal
      • For using your IndusInd Bank Duo Card as a credit card for a cash advance against the cash limit of the card, insert the card into the card slot of the ATM from the credit card side (yellow arrow) and then enter your credit card PIN.

    You can use the Duo card as a Debit Card at point-of-sale (POS) terminals, for online transactions, and also for cash withdrawals.

      • For using your IndusInd Bank Duo Card as a debit card for cash withdrawal, insert the card into the card slot of the ATM from the ATM/debit card (blue arrow) side and then enter the PIN of your debit card.
