Additionally, you are protected against counterfeit fraud, where your card details may be misused to create a fake card and carry out unauthorised transactions. Do note that any fraud occurred before the card is delivered is not covered. Any transactions authenticated using PIN like ATM withdrawals or merchant payments and online transactions completed using OTP are not covered. Insurance covers losses from up to two days before reporting the card loss, including the reporting day and up to seven days after reporting, which also includes the reporting day. The cardholder must report the claim within 15 days from the date of loss to be eligible. The insurance benefit is available only for active cards, meaning the card must have at least one transaction at a POS terminal in the last six months before the loss.

IndusInd Bank allows a grace period of three days from the payment due date on credit card accounts that have no overdue balance. This interest-free credit period applies only if all previous dues have been paid in full, with no unpaid balance carried over from the previous statement.
