For TMB credit cardholders, the bank would generate the TMB credit card statement on 20th of every month and the payment due date would be 5th of the following month.
As a standard credit card payment procedure, the bank requires all the credit cardholders to fund their TMB savings or current accounts linked to the credit card with the required amount before the due date.
On the 5th of every month, the bank will auto-debit the bill amount from the associated savings account of the cardholder. In case of non-availability of funds, it will create a temporary overdraft (TOD) to debit the bill amount.
Until the TOD account is closed in full by paying the bill amount, the TMB credit card remains blocked.

For the payment of the credit card bill, TamilNad Mercantile Bank offers the net banking feature to its savings account or current account customers. If you already have a bank account with TMB and the associated net banking account, you can use the same online account to pay your TMB credit card bill.

For non-TMB customers, NEFT/RTGS is an online facility to pay TMB credit card bill through other bank accounts. However, you need to have net banking access to your existing savings or current bank account to make the bill payment.

Funds transfer to the TMB credit card account will then be initiated and your payment would be processed batch-wise as per the bank's clearance time, on the same day or on the following day.
TMB bank accountholders can also opt for the auto debit facility to pay their credit card bill on time every month.
Simply enroll for the facility by submitting a written request to TMB or by filling the respective application form to opt for auto debit facility.
While enrolling for the facility, you will have the option to choose between 'Total amount due' and 'Minimum amount due' and the payment date.
Once you're enrolled, the bill amount will get debited from your account automatically every month on the same date.
BHIM/UPI app users having their savings account linked to the app can initiate funds transfer to TMB credit card account and can pay the bill on time.

Paytm app users having their savings account linked with the app, can pay TMB credit card bill either through Paytm balance, saved cards, BHIM UPI ID, or net banking account.
Paytm currently accepts bill payments of all Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Diners credit cards issued by all major banks.

Pay TMB Credit Card Bill Through Cheque / DD
Cheque payment can be done in order to pay the credit card bill of the TamilNad Mercantile Bank. You need to fill up the cheque with the credit card number along with the bill amount and date. You can either submit the cheque at any nearest TMB branch or drop it in a cheque drop box.
The credit card payment for the TamilNad Mercantile Bank can also be done by paying cash. However, the cash payment needs to be done at the branch of the bank.
Once you go to the branch, a deposit slip needs to be filled out which should contain the credit card number, the bill amount and other details. The denomination of the amount must be mentioned on the deposit slip as well. For cash payment, it takes from 24 - 48 hours to process the payment made.
A late payment fee of Rs.250 will be charged if you fail to pay the minimum amount due before the due date.
The credit card statement will be sent to you every month through post. You can also opt to receive the statement through an email sent by the bank or through net banking.
In case you have not received the credit card statement, you will have to call the TMB customer care service and inform them or you can also visit any branch of the bank to inform them about the issue.
Once you have notified them, the bank will resend the statement or provide you with the information you require to pay your credit card bill, mainly the bill amount.
