    Status of the application:

    If your credit card status says ‘in-progress’ it indicates that the bank has received your application and the processing in currently under progress. It takes a few more days for you to receive your Kotak credit card.

    Your application is approved once you find ‘approved’ as your application status. However, you may have to wait a little more to get your card.

    Once the processing is done and the approval is in place, the bank will make your card ready and will dispatch it to your correspondence address. In such case, the status says ‘dispatched’ and you are likely to receive an SMS with the shipment details. Make yourself available on the expected delivery date to receive your credit card.

    The other problematic statuses are on-hold, declined or no records found. An ‘on-hold’ status indicates that your application has been kept on hold for some reason. It could be a failed verification, or missing documents or mismatch of some information. The bank will reach you seeking clarity for the same.
