Generally, you will be required to create an account with BillDesk by providing basic information about yourself. Once you have created your account, you can go ahead and add the billers which are similar to adding billers using your netbanking account. Once you have added your billers, every time your biller generates a bill, you will be notified and you can pay all your bills or one at a time by login into your BillDesk account.
BilLDesk will only get the biller information from you. If you wish to not add a specific biller, you can go ahead and do so. Without you adding a biller and your authorisation, BillDesk will not voluntarily add any biller on your account.
Yes. You can go ahead and add any of your existing bank accounts to use BillDesk services. However, your bank account should have a 9-digit MICR code. A Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) Code can be found at the bottom of your cheque leaf.
To get started, you will be required to fill a registration form and submit a Payment Authorisation Form and provide your bank account details. You will also have to attach a photocopy of your cheque or a canceled cheque to verify the MICR Code. Once you have submitted all documents required, you will be allowed to add billers and process payments.
If you have a dispute with one of the payments you processed using BillDesk, you will have to get in touch with the biller. However, BillDesk will provide you with all the details about the payment for you to go ahead and dispute.
