    Rewards Redemption of IRCTC SBI Platinum Card

    Accrued rewards points can be redeemed by SBI customers using the following process explained below.

    • Login into IRCTC using the registered username and password linked to your loyalty number.
    • Choose the reward points option to pay for your new railway ticket at the payment gateway.
    • Rewards redemption can be done only on confirmed or RAC railway tickets booked for 1st Class AC, Executive Chair Car, AC 2 Tier, AC 2 Tier, and AC Chair Car.
    • Reward points can also be redeemed at Rs.1/reward point.

    Rules for Rewards Redemption

    • The reward points can be redeemed only against the total ticket fare, service charges levied by IRCTC included.
    • For individual passenger fares, the cardholder cannot redeem reward points.
    • For more than one passenger, one has to redeem points equivalent to total fare. Part payment cannot be made for such transactions.
    • In case you fall short of reward points, you can purchase them at Rs.1.50/reward point (plus taxes).
    • If you cancel the redeemed tickets, only reward points would be credited back (SBI Reward Points, SBI Travel Reward Points, and Purchase Points) and not cash.
