    Reward Redemption:

    You can redeem your reward points on two categories.

    • Renewal fees - Payment for renewal fees on your existing credit card.
    • Encashment - You can also get the value of the reward points credited to your card at the rate of 50 paise per point. This offer is available in multiples of 500 points. So 500 points will fetch you Rs. 250.

    In order to be eligible for a Syndicate Bank Credit Card, you should meet the following eligibility standards set by the bank.

    • You should either be residing or working in the area in which the card-issuing Syndicate Bank Branch operates.
    • You should be above 21 years. Minors are not eligible.
    • For salaried individuals, the maximum age is 60. For self-employed people, it is 65 years. This is extended for senior citizens and pensioners to 75 years.
    • Salaried individuals, senior citizens and pensioners earning at least Rs. 60,000 can apply.
    • Self-employed earning at least Rs. 1 lakh can apply.
    • You need to have a PAN card, a Permanent Account Number which is issued by the Income Tax Department.
    • Syndicate Bank customers carrying out operations through their bank account for at least 6 months are given preference.
    • Cards are also issued to NRIs and foreign nationals working in India provided they have a bank account with Syndicate Bank, and is subject to terms and conditions.

    • Classic Credit Card - For individuals earning an annual salary or pension of at least Rs. 60,000, this card is ideal. Self-employed, professionals and the business segments should show an income of Rs. 1 lakh per annum.
    • Gold Credit Card - A high-end card that offers a host of benefits to its customers, the Gold credit card brings more joy to spending. Individuals earning an annual salary of Rs. 1.5 lakhs can apply. Self-employed, professionals and businesses should be earning at least Rs. 2 lakhs per annum. This card is not available to senior citizens and pensioners.

    1. When is the payment on my credit card billed?

      The Credit Card Statement will be generated on the 20th of every month. Syndicate Bank stipulates the payment due date as the 10th of the succeeding month.

    2. What is the minimum due on my credit card bill?

      Syndicate Bank imposes 10% of the total payment as the minimum amount due. This amount must be paid by the due date to avoid penalties, higher rates of interest and other corrective action.

    3. Does Syndicate Bank offer credit cards to pre-approved customers?

      Yes, Syndicate Bank offers credit cards to existing customers without the need for proof of income. Home loan, term deposit, pigmy deposit, car loan customers can be offered credit cards with prefixed limits. The limits depend on the customer’s relationship with the bank. Defence personnel and Judges are also eligible for pre-approved credit cards.

    4. What is the cash advance limit on my Syndicate Bank credit card?

      Classic Cardholders can withdraw 15% of their credit limit. Gold Cardholders can withdraw up to 25% of their credit limit. Syndicate Bank offers concessional charges on cash advances, however, interest will be charged from the transaction date.
