    How to Block your SBI Credit Card through Phone Banking

    To block your State Bank of India Credit Card through phone banking, you can contact the 24x7 SBI credit card customer care number at (prefix STD code) 39 02 02 02 or 1860 180 1290.

    • Through the IVR, you will dial the phone number and select your preferred language.
    • Once done, press 2 to report the lost or stolen credit card.

    While requesting for your SBI credit card to be blocked through phone banking, it is advised to keep your credit card number, type of fraudulent transaction, date of transaction, and the total amount ready.

    Blocking your SBI Credit Card through Net Banking

    If you wish to block your SBI credit card through net banking, here’s what you’ll need to do:

    • Enter your details and log in to your account on sbicard.com.
    • Under the ‘Requests’ tab, click ‘Report Lost/Stolen Card’.
    • Select or enter your card number to report the lost card.
    • Click on Reissue Card’, if you wish for another credit card to be issued to you.
    • Click ‘Submit’.

    Steps to Block your SBI Credit Card through Mobile Banking

    You can also block your credit card through the mobile application of the State Bank of India.

    • Login to your account on the SBI Card mobile application.
    • Click on the ‘Menu’ option at the top left hand and select the ‘Service Request’ option.
    • Select ‘Report Lost/Stolen’ card.
    • Enter or select the card number which is lost or stolen.
    • Tap on ‘Reissue Card’, if you wish for a card to be reissued.
    • Select ‘Submit’.
