    Reporting and Blocking Lost or Stolen Credit Card and Through SBI Phone Number

    • You can always call the helpline number 39 02 02 02 (make sure to use prefix local STD code). You can also dial 1860 180 1290 for blocking your credit card.
    • Send an SMS “BLOCK XXXX” (The last 4 digits of your credit card) to the number, 5676791 from your registered mobile number.

    Reporting Your Lost Credit Card Through the SBI Website

    • Visit the site, sbicard.com
    • Log in to your account
    • Go to the Requests tab
    • Select “Report Lost/Stolen Card”
    • Click on your card number to report your lost card
    • For a card re-issue, select “Reissue Card”
    • Click on ‘Submit’
    • Your credit card will be blocked

    Reporting Lost or Stolen Credit Card Through the SBI Mobile App

    • Login to your account via the SBI app.
    • Select “Menu”.
    • Click on “Service Request”
    • Tap on “Report Lost/Stolen”
    • Click on your card number
    • Hover over “Submit” and select it
    • Your credit card will automatically get blocked

    The different methods by which you can unblock the SBI Credit Card are mentioned below:

    By Visiting the Bank Branch

    You can visit an SBI branch and request for the card to be unblocked. A request will be raised to unblock the credit card.

    Written Application

    A written application can be submitted to the SBI manager requesting for the card to be unblocked.

    Online Portal

    • Visit the official website of SBI Card.
    • Complete the login procedure.
    • Select ‘Card Activation’. The option can be found under the ‘Request’ tab.
    • Select the card you wish to unblock to complete the process.

    Email

    • Visit the bank’s ‘Write to Us’ page.
    • Enter the card number.
    • Enter the mobile number, email ID, and name.
    • Enter the OTP that is sent to the mobile number.
    • Choose the category.
    • Choose the sub-category.
    • Provide the details and request for the card to be unblocked.
    • Once the complaint has been accepted, the card will be unblocked.

    By Calling Customer Care

    You can call SBI’s customer care number to unblock the credit card. Ensure that you call customer care from the registered mobile number.

      After the submission of your request through any SBI platform, you will get a block confirmation through SMS and also by mail on your registered mobile number and email address.

      After you make a request to reissue/replace card, you will get the new card in 7 working days. However, the time taken will depend on your location.
