The State Bank of India provides its customers with the SBI Card PRIME which is a credit card offering a wide range of rewards. This SBI Credit card gives you joining benefits along with reward points for transactions done through various categories such as travel, fuel and, lifestyle.
The SBI Card PRIME is among the premium credit cards offered by SBI which is curated specifically for frequent travelers and for the people who make most of their purchases online.
The credit card limit of this credit card is at the discretion of the bank. In order to decide the limit for a particular credit card, the bank considers a number of factors such as the credit history of the applicant, credit score along with the repayment behavior of past and current debts.
You can redeem your reward points through State Bank of India net banking. Here are the steps which need to be followed:
Step 1: Log in to your SBI net banking account.
Step 2: Click on the 'redeem rewards' option on the main page.
Step 3: You can choose the reward category from the catalog given to you.
Step 4: The total reward points will be shown to you on the left side of the page.
Step 5: Input the city for the delivery of the rewards.
Step 6: Choose the quantity of the reward and then click on 'add to cart'.
Step 7: Once done, check on the disclaimer and click on 'place order'.

Yes, you can use the card anywhere across the globe. The SBI Card PRIME is accepted at over 24 million outlets across the world. A foreign transaction fee of up to 3.5% of the transaction amount will be charged every time you use the card abroad.
If you have lost your SBI Card PRIME in India, you can report it immediately to the bank by calling its 24x7 helplines 1860 180 1290 or 39 02 02 02 (prefix local STD code). In case you lost the card abroad, you can call the respective Visa helpline number specific of the country to report the loss. The list of toll-free numbers of more than 70 countries is available on SBI website or Visa website.
You can apply for up to 2 add-on credit cards on your SBI Card PRIME Credit Card.
Yes, SBI Card PRIME comes with a balance transfer on EMI facility that allows you to transfer the outstanding balance on your other bank credit cards to SBI PRIME Credit Card. Once the amount is transferred, you can pay it back in easy monthly installments at a lower interest rate in flexible tenures.

You can check the status of your SBI Prime credit card application by clicking on the link https://www.sbicard.com/en/eapply.page#track-retrieve-form where in the box under ‘Track Application’ enter either your reference number or application number and click on ‘Track’.
In case you were unable to complete your application process, click on the link https://www.sbicard.com/en/eapply.page#track-retrieve-form and under ‘Retrieve Application’ enter your first name and mobile number in their respective boxes and click on ‘Retrieve’.
Some of the reasons why your application for SBI Prime card got rejected could be that you may not have met the required eligibility criteria. In case your credit score is low, or if you do not withdraw the minimum monthly income, then the bank can reject your application. In case you are unable to submit correct documents, then there the bank is at liberty to reject your application.
Salaried individuals must be aged at least 21 years while self-employed individuals must be 25 years and above to be eligible to apply for SBI Prime Card. Retired pensioners aged between 40 years and 70 years can also apply for this credit card.
