IOB, on approval of your credit card application, sends the credit card along with other documents to your registered address via post. This will include the credit card PIN that is sent by the bank to your registered mailing address or through SMS as an OTP (One-Time Password). To carry out any transactions with the credit card, you must activate the card by generating the PIN.
This PIN can be generated either at an ATM, by contacting the IOB customer care or by visiting the customer self-care portal of the bank.
You can visit your nearest IOB ATM and generate your credit card PIN after you have received an OTP.
