Cardholders can request HSBC bank to convert their Taj Inner Circle points to Rewards points, which will be credited by the bank to their Taj Inner Circle accounts within 7 working days. Credit Card customers can redeem their Reward points from the HSBC Rewards Catalogue. The Rewards Catalogue is divided into different categories, which are as follows –
Each Catalogue has a list of products, which the customers can choose from. They can then redeem their points to purchase the products they like. The Rewards points can be redeemed by the primary card holders only and the bank will charge a handling fee of Rs.50 per redemption. Even if cardholders purchase anything using their add – on cards, the points will be credited to the primary card.

If customers wish to redeem their points online, they will require an Internet Banking ID and password. HSBC Bank will take 3 weeks to process the redemption requests.
The Reward points work according to the Rolling Expiry System. According to this system, your points are valid for your credit card for a certain number of years, say 2 years. If you do not redeem them at the end of the first year of your membership, then they will expire at the end of the 2nd year. The first year will begin from the date of issue of the credit card. The Taj Inner Circle programme is included in the Rewards Redemption programme of HSBC Bank and the credit cardholders who have earned Taj Inner Circle Points can redeem them to avail gifts, meals and holidays at the Taj, etc. Cardholders can choose to convert their points as well by placing a request for the same with the bank.
Credit Card customers of HSBC Bank can download the Rewards Redemption form from the website of the bank. They can find the form in the ‘Rewards Programme’ section under the ‘Credit Cards’ section of the website.

Apart from this, cardholders can choose to redeem their Extra points by transferring them to HSBC Reward points. This redemption can be done in multiples of hundred only. The request for such transfers will be processed within 10 working days.
Cardholders can also redeem their Extra points using the Points plus Pay option. Point plus Pay Rewards are high value rewards, to avail which the credit cardholder has to pay the amount not covered by the points.

The Extra points are valid for a period of 3 years. If customers do not redeem their Extra points within that period, they will expire. If they have an overdue on their credit card and are paying only the minimum amount, then they will not be able to redeem their Extra points.
TO redeem the points, HSBC Credit Cardholders can either visit the Extra website or contact on the Extra customer care number. Their request will be processed and delivered within a period of 21 days.
