      The credit card with HSBC has been a hassle free experience. I havent used the card and I have closed it, I have opted this card froma tird party and its a life time free credit card. They have given a decent credit limit of 45000 rupees, I have multiple call so i cancelled it.

      If we pay for one ticket, We get 2 tickets for free on this HSBC Visa platinum credit card. There are good EMI options available here and All my credit bill payments will be paid through the CITI bank portal. I hold this card for about a year . There are Some discount offers which they offer on clear trip booking, and I haven't used it so far. I am happy with the credit limit which is allocated to me on this credit card.

They are responsive too, credit Limit what they had offered is 1.90laks but later, Because of the recession bank has reduced my credit limit,in between it kept on changing from 50k to 75k now lastly it is 50k, Its a life time free card.

    HSBC Credit Card Reward Points Program Overview:

    For HSBC Bank their customers are very important, which is why all their products are designed in a way that provides maximum benefits to the consumers. These benefits offered by the bank vary depending on the products. Say, if you purchase a HSBC credit card, then you can earn points on the purchases that you make using your card. These points can be redeemed to avail various rewards. The different types of Points offered by HSBC currently are as follows –

    Cardholders of the bank can earn Reward points from the Rewards Programme and Extra Points from the Extra Points Programme. The redemption catalogue is different for both the programmes.

    How can I earn rewards points under the HSBC Credit Card Rewards Programme?

    Rewards Programme and Accelerated Rewards Programme:

    Under the HSBC Credit Card Rewards Programme and the Accelerated Rewards Programme, credit card customers of the Bank can earn points when they make any purchases using their cards. Cardholders can also earn Reward Points by transferring their Extra Points to their HSBC Reward Points account. For 100 Extra Points, they will get 150 HSBC Reward Points.

    Cardholders can redeem their Rewards points to purchase products/ services in various categories such as garments, gift vouchers, home appliances, air miles, cosmetics, charities, electronics, fashion accessories, jewellery, etc.

    The HSBC Rewards point conversion ratio is not the same for all the categories. For Example – In case of air miles, the conversion ratio is:

    Taj Inner Circle Points: Taj Inner Circle programme members, who have HSBC credit cards that are eligible for the Rewards Programme, can earn Taj Inner Circle Points when they spend money using their cards at Taj Hotels located in and outside India. Cardholders can request HSBC bank to convert their Taj Inner Circle points to Rewards points, which will be credited by the bank to their Taj Inner Circle accounts within 7 working days. The conversion ratio for Taj Inner Circle Points is mentioned below –

    Apart from the above, HSBC Bank has an introductory offer for people who apply for a new credit card with them. As per this offer, applicants can earn Reward points when they apply for the following cards –

They can inform by filling and submitting the marketing form at any branch of the bank.

    Credit Card customers can redeem their Reward points from the HSBC Rewards Catalogue. The Rewards Catalogue is divided into different categories, which are as follows –

Even if cardholders purchase anything using their add – on cards, the points will be credited to the primary card.

    Redemption Process:

    To redeem their Reward points, HSBC Credit Cardholders can do one of the following things:

    The Reward points work according to the Rolling Expiry System. According to this system, your points are valid for your credit card for a certain number of years, say 2 years. If you do not redeem them at the end of the first year of your membership, then they will expire at the end of the 2nd year. The first year will begin from the date of issue of the credit card.     The Extra points are valid for a period of 3 years. If customers do not redeem their Extra points within that period, they will expire. If they have an overdue on their credit card and are paying only the minimum amount, then they will not be able to redeem their Extra points.

    TO redeem the points, HSBC Credit Cardholders can either visit the Extra website or contact on the Extra customer care number. Their request will be processed and delivered within a period of 21 days.

      If you receive a damaged product, you should keep all the packaging material and return it to the HSBC Cards Products Division Manager. If HSBC Bank finds the product to be defective as well, they will either replace the product or refund the Reward points.

      If you realise that something is wrong with the product just by looking at the packaging, then do not accept it and acquire a refusal note from the courier company. You have to send this refusal note to the Manager of the HSBC Cards Products Division.
