    2. If I recharge my cell phone via PayZapp, will I get 5% cashback for each transaction?

      No. You will receive a 5% cashback on only one of the transactions

    3. Are all purchases made using the card eligible for fire and burglary protection?

      Only purchases that are Rs.5,000 and more are eligible for this purchase protection. Moreover, items such as motor vehicle deeds, pedal cycle deeds, bills of exchange, bonds, certificates, business books, manuscripts, documents, jewellery, unsettling precious stones, promissory notes, share certificates, valuables, and items that are combustible in nature are not eligible for this insurance coverage.

    4. How do I make an insurance claim?

      To make a claim for accidental death insurance, follow these steps:

      • Your legal heir should intimate the bank within 30 days of the accidental death. They can do so by emailing bankclaims@hdfcergo.com.
      • Your legal heir will then have to send the relevant documents to bankclaims@hdfcergo.com within 60 days from the date of loss.

      For purchase protection (for products which have been purchased in the last 180 days), follow these steps:

      • Intimate the bank within 15 days of the loss event by sending an email to bankclaims@hdfcergo.com.
      • Submit all relevant documents to bankclaims@hdfcergo.com within 45 days from the date of loss of the product.
