    • Add on cards:

      For immediate family members above the age of 18, you can extend the benefits of the Canara Bank Global Gold card by taking Add-on cards for them. There are no annual fees attached.

    • Fuel surcharge waiver:

      Upon purchase of petrol and petroleum products on your Global Gold card, the 2.5% fuel surcharge will be waived for transactions of Rs. 400 and above. You are entitled to a maximum reimbursement of Rs. 100 per month. To avail of this waiver, you should spend at least Rs. 2,500 on petrol transactions for the billing month.

    • Complimentary Accident Insurance:

      You will receive complimentary insurance against accidental death due to air crash for Rs. 8 lakhs for yourself, and Rs. 4 lakhs for your spouse. For death by any other reason, the insurance will cover Rs.4 lakhs for yourself and Rs. 2 lakhs for your spouse.

      The Canara Bank Global Gold credit card is issued in association with VISA and MasterCard. The card is accepted worldwide. You can use the credit card in India and abroad at merchant outlets and ATMs. The card is also accepted on the Internet, IVRS, Teleshopping and Mail order.

    • EMV chip and PIN enabled:

      The card is embedded with an EMV chip that gives you added protection against fraud and duplication. The card also required a PIN to authenticate your transactions.

    • Credit limit:

      You can avail of a credit limit of up to 50% of your annual income. The minimum limit is Rs. 50,000. The maximum credit limit is set at Rs. 25 lakhs. Credit limits are issued at the sole discretion of the Card Division of Canara Bank.

    • Interest-free period:

      Get up to 50 days interest-free periods to make payments on your credit card.

    • Revolving credit:

      Choose to pay your credit card bill according to your financial convenience. The minimum payment due is Rs. 100 or 5% of the billed amount, whichever is higher. The minimum amount must be paid by the due date. You can carry forward the remainder but interest will be levied.

      A charge of 2% + service tax on the outstanding amount not paid by the due date will be applicable. Canara Bank will suspend the usage of your credit card till you clear your debt in full.

    3. What happens if I cannot pay back my credit card bill?

      A credit card comes with great financial responsibility and must be used only to the extent that you can afford. In case you cannot pay back your dues, Canara Bank will hotlist your credit card. You will be reported to CIBIL and will appear on the negative list.       The VISA Gold card is billed on the 20th of every month. The date will be the 10th of the next month.

      With your Canara Bank, Global credit card, you can get upto 50 days interest-free. That means you have up to 50 days to pay back the amount you spent without any interest.
