Amazon No Cost EMI
Gone are the day we visited the nearby mall to buy a new phone. Online shopping has gained popularity in the last few decades. From groceries to electronics, everything is available online. The leading e-commerce sites like Flipkart and Amazon have taken advantage of this trend and provides great offers to their customers to promote online shopping. One such initiative is the “No-cost EMI” offered by Amazon.
Usually, when a customer decides to buy a product and convert the total bill amount into Equated Monthly Installments (EMIs), a nominal interest rate is charged. Under the No-Cost EMI option offered by Amazon, the interest rate that is charged if a customer opts for EMI option is waived upfront as a discount. Which means, the customer is not paying anything additional apart from the product price. Though you may see an interest being charged by the bank in your statement, a discount of the same amount will be given to you upfront which is adjusted in the price of the product. In this case, the monthly installment is equal to the total product price divided by the number of EMIs. There are no additional charges levied like down payment or processing fees.
To avail the No-Cost EMI option, customers will have to visit Amazon official website and check for products that are eligible and choose “No-Cost EMI” option on the payment page.
