    Central Bank of India (CBI) offers a range of credit cards, each carefully designed to offer the best benefits. To make things more convenient for the customers, CBI has an online portal with user-friendly interface to view credit card accounts and pay bills. Paying the credit card bill on time is very important as it ensures the continuity of services and also prevents the accumulation of penalty.

    Central Bank of India Credit Card customers can choose to pay their credit card bills either offline or online. The customer can choose a platform that is most suitable for their needs and make the payment of outstanding dues easily. What more, these easy payment means come at no extra cost and any credit cardholder registered with Net Banking can make credit card bill payments online in an instant.

    Central Bank of India Credit Card Payment - Online Modes:

    Given below are the online modes for credit card bill payment offered by the Central Bank of India.

    • Pay through Central Bank’s net banking account: If you have a saving or current account with Central Bank of India and an associated internet banking account, you can log in to your net banking account to pay your credit card bill.
    • Pay through CBI’s credit card portal: If you don’t have any account with CBI but only the credit card, you can register the card in CBIs credit card portal to enable net banking facility for the same. Follow the steps mentioned below to register your CBI credit card for internet banking:
      • Visit CBI credit card portal (ccard.centralbankofindia.co.in/)
      • Click on ‘New User Register Here’
      • You will be redirected to a new page, where you need to register your card by filling the form with all the required details.
      • Once done, check the T&C box and click on ‘Submit’

    Upon successful registration of the credit card, you will receive a message or e-mail from the bank on your registered mobile number or e-mail ID. Once you receive the account activation details, you can use the login ID and password you have used to create the account to log in to the portal and start using the various services offered by it. Find credit card bill payment from the list of options, follow the instructions to complete the payment.

    • Pay using net banking account on other banks through CBI website online: Non-CBI customers can use net banking accounts of other banks to make the payment. To do that you need to add CBI credit card as biller before making the payment.

    Alternatively, you can also use the online platform offered by CBI to make the payment using your net banking account. Follow the instructions mentioned below to make the payment using your net banking account.

      • Visit pgi.billdesk.com/pgmerc/cbicard/
      • Click on ‘Pay Now’ option
      • You will be redirected to the payment page, where you need to enter your 16-digit Central Bank of India’s credit card number, registered e-mail ID, mobile number, and payment amount.
      • Select ‘Net Banking’ and from the drop down select the name of the bank of which you have net banking account.
      • Click on ‘Pay’
      • You will be redirected to the net banking page of the respective bank. Log in to your bank, follow the instructions to complete the payment.

    Currently, Central Bank of India is supporting net banking payment from most of the banks in India.

    • Pay using debit card online: Non-CBI customers can use debit cards of other banks to pay CBI credit card bill online. Follow the instructions mentioned below to make the payment using your debit card.
      • Visit pgi.billdesk.com/pgmerc/cbicard/
      • Click on ‘Pay Now’ option
      • You will be redirected to the payment page, where you need to enter your 16-digit Central Bank of India’s credit card number, registered e-mail ID, mobile number, and payment amount.
      • Select ‘Debit Cards’ and from the drop down select the name of the bank of which you have the debit card.
      • Click on ‘Pay’
      • You will be redirected to a new page where you need to enter your debit card details and other authentication details to process the payment.
      • Once the payment is done, you will receive a message or e-mail.

    • Pay through NEFT: If you do not hold a Net Banking account with Central Bank of India or want to use the balance from another bank’s account to pay your dues, you can use National Electronic Funds Transfer to pay the outstanding. Just follow the simple steps given below to make a NEFT payment for CBI card dues.

    Log on to your bank’s net banking account, under the third party fund transfers section and add Central Bank of India Credit Card as a beneficiary. To add it as beneficiary enter the following details in respective fields

      • Beneficiary name – Name of the cardholder
      • Account number – 16 digit CBI credit card number
      • IFSC code - CBIN0285001
      • Bank name - Central Bank of India Credit Card – NEFT
      • Branch - CENTRAL CARD DEPT
      • City – Greater Bombay

    Please note that the IFSC code, bank name, branch name, city are common for all credit card payments made in India irrespective of the city or state you’re residing in.

    It may take 30 minutes to add the beneficiary. Once it is added, you can initiate fund transfer through NEFT by selecting CBI credit card as beneficiary. Enter the amount you wish to pay towards the credit card account and make the payment. NEFT payments are usually cleared in hourly batches from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Payments made within the settlement timings will be cleared on the same day.

    • Pay through CBI mobile banking: CBI’s mobile app, Cent is a smart and simple application designed to enable banking through your smartphones. With an internet-enabled handset, CBI customers can access various services offered by the bank using their mobiles. Download the app, register your card by providing internet banking user id and password or debit card information. Once you login to the app, you can find the option to pay your CBI credit card bill. Other services that are offered through the app are credit card limit setting option, card blocking option, new credit card application request, and others.
    • Through Auto Debit option: CBI offers Auto-debit option to provide a hassle-free way to pay your credit card dues on time. You can register any of your savings, current or overdraft accounts for the auto debit facility and CBI shall recover the dues from the registered account every month on the due date. You will also have an option to opt for either total amount due or minimum amount due. To register for the Auto – debit facility, login to CBI credit card portal and register your auto debit mandate.

    Central Bank of India Credit Card Payment - Offline Modes:

    For people who prefer to go to the physical branch directly to make payments, CBI offers offline credit card payment options.

    • Cash payment at Central Bank branches: Central Bank of India credit card customers can make payments in cash towards their credit card outstanding by visiting any of the bank branches in their city. They will have to provide details like the credit card number and contact details. The cash payments done towards credit card bills may attract nominal processing fee. Central Bank banking customers can make immediate payment through CBS facility.
    • Cheque Payments: You can also deposit a cheque at any of the drop boxes available at CBI ATMs and bank branches to make credit card bill payments. You can submit a cheque payable to Central Bank of India credit card account.

    For your Bank of India credit card, the statement will be sent at the end of billing cycle. The card statement will essentially contain the purchases and payments that you have made for a period and will be usually sent to your registered postal address and email address.     If the amount has been debited from your account but has not been applied to the credit card account even after three working days, contact the bank with the transaction reference number. If the transaction is not reflected in the credit card account, a reversal of transfer will be initiated. However, to avoid the penalty, it is suggested that you make payment through alternate means before the end of due date.

    Yes, every transaction is carried out with maximum security through SSL technology. The date is encrypted when it is sent across channels so that it can’t be viewed by unauthorized third party.
