Even though not many people take advantage of this feature, lounge access can help you save a lot of money and help you relax between flights during layovers.

HSBC Bank offers a LoungeKey program membership with Mastercard credit cards which gives you the below-mentioned benefits:

• You will have access to more than 850 airport lounges overseas with HSBC Premier Mastercard credit card.
• The lounge membership offers you 2 airport lounge access in a year which are complimentary.
• Once you have crossed the complimentary lounge accesses, a fee of $27 plus taxes will be charged to your credit card.
• The fee will also be applicable for the add-on credit cardholder.

Eligibility Criteria for Lounge Access

• You will need to maintain a quarterly Total Relationship Balance of Rs.40 lakh.
• If not, you will have to have a mortgage relationship with the disbursal of Rs.11,500,000.
• Apart from this, you can also hold a corporate salary account under the HSBC Corporate Employee Program (CEP) in India with a net monthly salary credit of Rs.3 lakh. in your account.

The HSBC Mastercard credit cardholders are also given a membership to the lounge access program by MasterCard in partner lounges in international and domestic terminals. However, one entry per cardholder is allowed under this program with a limit of 6 lounges visits are given per quarter to a cardholder which are complimentary.
