Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) has stated it will be offering customers a new credit card called ‘BOM Platinum RuPay Contactless Credit Card’. The announcement was made as the bank tied up the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to offer its first credit card on the RuPay network. Managing Director and CEO of Bank of Maharashtra said that they envisage to fulfil the ever-evolving customer needs by exploring new avenues while adding to our customer delight.
The card comes with a number of features like card liability cover, fuel surcharge waiver, option of converting all their eligible transactions into easy EMIs, airport lounge access, etc. The bank is offering 100 reward points as welcome benefit on their first retail spending worth Rs1,000 or more and a complimentary annual membership fee for the first year. The annual fee will be waived off for the second year onwards if more than Rs.30,000 is spent in a year.
