Punjab National Bank (PNB) has now made the life of its customers a lot easier and convenient. PNB has introduced the SMS Banking facility which can be utilized by customers of the bank. A customer who wants to keep a check on his/her transactions and other account details can do so by sending out a message to the bank on their mobile phones. The SMS service can be used to track transactions made using your debit card/credit card, receive an OTP to authorize online transactions, request for a balance enquiry, etc.

- A customer can receive a mini statement on the last 10 transactions that were carried out using your debit/credit card
- It is very easy to enquire about the status of a cheque and stop payment or processing of a cheque
- You can request for a new cheque book by sending an SMS
How do I register for the PNB SMS Banking service?
You can opt for the SMS Banking service provided by Punjab National Bank by getting your mobile number registered at the nearest PNB Branch. Once this is done, all you have to do is send a SMS to 5607040 with the specified keyword.
