Italy provides sports visa to amateur and professional sports person, adjudicators, and judges who want to travel to Italy to take part in any sport events in their field. The sports visa is a short-term visa. The passport that is submitted for this type of visa should be valid for at least 6 months from the time of travel.
Each visa application is charged with visa fee and VFS service charges. The visa fee details are mentioned below:

In addition to the visa fees, the applicant must pay the VFS service charge of Rs.799 (payable in cash online, debit/credit card) which is inclusive of Goods and Service Tax - SGST@9% and CGST@9%.
The visa fee must be paid by demand draft made out to 'VFS GLOBAL SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED' and should be payable in the city where you submit your application. Per applicant, only one banking instrument will be approved.
Alternatively, applicants who are applying at VFS Delhi, Jaipur, Jalandhar, and Chandigarh will be able to pay their visa fees in cash, debit card, or credit card. For this a convenience fee of Rs.166 (inclusive of Goods and Service Tax - SGST@9% and CDST@9%) would be charged per application.
Note: If the Embassy of Italy rejects your application or if you withdraw your application while it is being processed at the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi, the visa fee and service expenses will not be returned.
