  To obtain a Kenya e-Visa, the processing time is usually three to four business days in Kenya. It can take a bit longer, though, if the Security Department is still reviewing your visa application.

• What is the validity of a Kenya eVisa?

  The validity of a Kenya eVisa is three months before travel. When you are at the immigration control at the port of entry, you may be granted a stay of up to 90 days. This can be extended at the immigration headquarters for another 90 days. You may stay in Kenya for a maximum of six months. 

• Do I have to apply for another e-Visa if in case I already visited Kenya with my single entry visa?

    Yes, once your visa has been used or expired, you will require a new visa to visit Kenya.  

• Will I get a refund if my Kenya eVisa application was rejected?

    No, you will not get a refund if your Kenya eVisa application was rejected.  

• Is it possible to extend my stay in Kenya?

    You can apply for a visa renewal at the immigration headquarters located in Nairobi once the initial days allotted by the immigration control elapse. You will be allowed to stay in Kenya for a maximum of six months.
