Lebanon Visa for Indians

Eligibility criteria for acquiring visa to Lebanon

1. You must be a resident of India who holds a valid Indian passport.
2. You will have to show that you have a valid travel insurance policy in your name.

Documents required

If you are visiting as a tourist:

1. Submit two photocopies of your passport.
2. Submit your visa application form duly signed by you.
3. A confirmed return ticket.
4. Income Tax returns for the past three years.
5. Your passport size photograph.
6. Bank statement for the past three months.
7. Proof of accommodation.

You will also have to submit a cover letter clearly stating your name, passport number, purpose behind visiting Lebanon, and the duration for which you plan to stay in the country. The letter must be addressed to the Consular Section and Embassy in New Delhi. The letter must be signed by an authorised person bearing the company's stamp as well.

If you are visiting for business purposes:

1. Photocopy of passport.
2. Duly filled and signed visa application form.
3. Passport size photograph.
4. Bank statement for the past three months.
5. A confirmed return ticket.
6. Income Tax returns for the past three years.
7. Proof of accommodation.
8. Registration certificate of the company in Lebanon.
9. Proof of relationship with the company.
10. Other documents and details as required.

You will have to write a cover letter in which you must clearly state your name, passport number, purpose behind visiting the country, and the duration for which you will be staying there. All these details must be mentioned on the letterhead of the company with whom you will be conducting your business and should be signed by a person authorised by the organisation and must bear the company's stamp.
