Transit Visa

Persons who are travelling from one country to another by passing through Republic of Armenia either by air or land

  1. In a transit visa it is mandatory to produce a flight ticket or an entry visa of the country you are heading to
  1. It is not allowed to stay in the Armenian territory for more than 72 hours on a transit visa, except during emergency situations
  1. You will be allowed to stay in the transit zone for 48 hours and will not be allowed into the country

How to Apply for an Armenian e-visa? 

The following is a step-by-step guide on the process to apply for an Armenian e-visa: 

  1. Open the Armenian e-visa website and check your eligibility by providing the necessary details such as travel document and email address 
  1. Next, an activation email will be sent to your registered email ID, which will be valid up to 24 hours 
  1. After the activation process, submit the required details on the site 
  1. Provide details regarding the purpose of your visit and duration 
  1. Next, check and confirm all the details filled in the application form 
  1. In the final step, you will be directed to the payment section. Make the payment to submit your visa application 
  1. The Armenian Foreign Affairs Ministry will send an application ID to your registered email ID. You can use this ID to check your visa application status

The following is a step-by-step guide on how to apply for an Armenian visa at the embassy: 

  1. First, download the visa application form from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia’s website available in the visa option on the ‘Consula Service’ section
