Bank Holidays In The Union Territory Of Andaman And Nicobar For 2019

When we talk about of bank holidays,we mean the days when banks are closed for the public. On such days, even though other offices, educational institutions are open, bank employees and officials get off from work. All public sector banks in the country remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of a month as part of an agreement between the Indian Banks’ Association and the All India Bank Employees’ Association. These holidays are in addition to all the public, national and regional holidays that the people of Andaman and Nicobar islands can avail.
