CNG can be used as an alternative to LPG, diesel, petrol, propane or gasoline. CNG is considered to be the safest alternative to fuel as it contains methane which is less than 1% of the volume. It doesn't cause any negative reaction to the environment.

Oil Marketing Companies Released New LPG Prices on 1 December 2025

The latest LPG price list was released on 1 December 2025. The rate of domestic gas cylinders remains unchanged whereas the price of commercial cylinders showed a decline of Rs.10. This reduced price for commercial cylinders brought slight relief for restaurants, hotels, and businesses. 

In New Delhi, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder continues to stand at Rs.853, whereas the commercial cylinder stands at Rs.1580.50. In Kolkata, the commercial rates have fallen to Rs.1684 after the recent reduction while domestic LPG costs Rs.879. The price of domestic cylinders in Chennai was Rs.868.50 and commercial cylinders at Rs.1739.50. In Mumbai, unchanged domestic rates are at Rs.852.50 whereas for commercial use the rate is at Rs.1531. 

In Noida, the registered price of domestic LPG is Rs.850.50 and commercial LPG is Rs.1580.50. For Bangalore, the reported prices are Rs.855.50 and Rs.1654, respectively. In Bhubaneswar, the maintained domestic rate is Rs.879 and the commercial LPG rate is Rs.1724. In Chandigarh and Hyderabad, the domestic rates were reported as Rs.862.50 and Rs.905, and commercial rates as Rs.1599.50 and Rs.1801.50 respectively.
