    Link Aadhaar Card to HDFC Bank Account via Offline

    Prior to linking your Aadhaar Card to your HDFC Bank account via the offline route, you will have to keep certain documents ready such as your bank passbook, your E-Aadhaar or Aadhaar Card, and the Application Form for linking your Aadhaar Card to your HDFC Bank account. Follow the below mentioned steps to complete the Aadhaar and bank account linking.

    Step 1: The Application Form can be downloaded from the bank's official website and you will have to take a print out of the same and fill in the necessary information such as your bank details and your Aadhaar number, etc.

    Step 2: Once you have duly filled in the form, you will have to visit a branch of HDFC Bank and submit the application form as well as photocopy of your Aadhaar Card to a representative of the bank

    Step 1: Visit netbanking.hdfcbank.com

    Step 2: Login to your account, by entering the User ID/Customer ID and click on “Continue” tab

    Step 3: Under the accounts option, select “Request” section

    Step 4: Next, click on the “View/update Aadhaar number”

    Step 5: Select the account to which you would like to link your Aadhaar number

    Step 6: Enter the Aadhaar number again and click on “Update”

    Step 7: Double check all the details entered, and click on “Confirm” button, to complete the linking process

    Link Your Aadhaar and HDFC Account via Mobile Banking

    Step 1: The first step is to login to your HDFC bank’s mobile banking app

    Step 2: Under accounts, select “Request” section

    Step 3: Select the account that needs to be linked to the Aadhaar number. Next, enter your Aadhaar number

    Step 4: Re-enter the Aadhaar number again and click on “Update”. All the details are displayed on the screen, verify them and click on “Confirm” to complete the process

    Step 5: On completing this, your HDFC account and Aadhaar will get linked in next 3-4 working days

    Link Aadhaar with HDFC Account via visiting Nearest ATM

    Step 1: Once you complete your transaction, on the ATM screen prompts the message “Link Aadhaar to your Bank account”

    Step 2: Select “Yes” to proceed further

    Step 3: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number to compete the linking of Aadhaar to HDFC account

    Link Aadhaar Card to HDFC Bank Account via Online Mode

    All you need to link your Aadhaar Card to the HDFC Bank account via online mode is a working HDFC Internet Banking account.

    Step 1: The first step in the process is to login to your HDFC Internet Banking account, and then click on “Link Aadhaar Card Details”

    Step 2: You will then be directed to the online form, where you have to enter the required information and complete the linking process

    For Linking Aadhaar and HDFC bank through phone banking, you need to have all the phone banking IVR of your city and next select bank account option on IVR.

    Step 1: Select the language, and then select “Option 1”

    Step 2: You should validate by using “Customer ID and TIN” or “Debit Card Number and PIN”

    Step 3: For any requests and complaints, you should select “Option 6”, and then “Option 2” for requests

    Step 4: Then, for updating Aadhaar number, select “Option 8” and then re-enter the Aadhaar number

    Step 5: IVR will send you a message that your Aadhaar number will be updated in next 3-4 days

    Step 6: Once you complete these steps, you will receive a confirmation message along with the request number and date
