Some common problems that customers encounter include linking personal data with financial data, theft of identity and fraud, mismatched in account details like gender, name and date of birth, etc.
You can check the seeding status of your bank accounts by going to the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), visiting your bank branch, or by calling the number *99*99*1#.
The rules do not require you to connect your Aadhaar number with your current or new bank account. However, linking your Aadhaar number to your bank account is mandatory under certain conditions: to receive government grants, apply for welfare schemes in India, etc.
