Sanwariya Gas Limited (SGL) is a natural gas distribution company that has exclusive rights to supply natural gas in Mathura, India. SGL was the first private company in the country that bagged the rights to distribute natural gas via 2009’s bidding process.

The gas pipeline network of the company is 500 kilometres and has 7 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations that are operational. With the help of its network and gas grid, SGL provides natural gas to over 125 industrial customers, 1,500 vehicles, and 5,000 households.

SGL provides natural gas to over 2 million people in the city of Mathura on a 24x7 basis. The main aim of SGL is to provide clean fuel to Indian citizens and to energise the natural gas vision of the country. SGL provides Piped Natural Gas (PNG) for domestic, industrial, and commercial purposes.

Sanwariya Gas – New Connection

The process to apply for a new connection is very simple and can be done online. The step-by-step procedure to apply for a new connection is mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website of Sanwariya Gas (https://www.sanwariyagas.com/).
  • Under the type of connection, click on ‘Get a New Gas Connection’.
  • In the case of a domestic connection, you will need to enter your salutation, name, email ID, contact number, address, city, district, and captcha on the next page.
  • In the case of an industrial connection, you will need to enter the name of the establishment, type of industry, fuel that is presently being used, consumption of fuel, establishment address, location, district, approximate gas consumption, salutation, contact person name, telephone number, email ID, and captcha on the next page.
  • In the case of a commercial connection, you will need to enter the name of the establishment, type of business, the fuel that is currently being used, fuel consumption, establishment address, location, district, approximate gas consumption, salutation, contact person name, telephone number, email ID, and captcha.
  • Next, click on ‘Submit’.
  • An SGL representative will contact you to process the request.

The different methods by which PNG – Residential customers can pay their bills are mentioned below:

  • By using the official website of Sanwariya Gas
  • Instapay/EBPP: Sanwariya Gas customers can pay their bills via their banks by using the Instapay/EBPP services.
  • State Bank of India: Domestic connection bills can be paid at any State Bank of India (SBI) branches.
  • eGram Centres: In order to help customers who live in remote locations or rural areas, bills can be paid at the eGram Centres in Gujarat that SGL has tied up with.
  • Department of Post: SGL has also tied up with the Department of Post where domestic gas bills can be paid.
  • PayUMoney: Domestic connections can be paid by PNG – Residential customers by using PayUMoney.
  • Bills can be paid at the Sanwariya Gas Centre
