LPG Meaning and its Production

The term LPG stands for Liquefied Petroleum Gas. This combustible combination of hydrocarbon gases is mostly utilised as fuel in cooking, vehicles, heating appliances, etc. It is also used as an aerosol propellant, replacing chlorofluorocarbons in an effort to reduce ozone layer damage. Approximately two-thirds of the LPG is extracted directly from the earth, while the crude oil drilling process produces the remaining.
