Oil marketing companies have increased the cost of commercial LPG gas cylinders by 195 rupees and 50 paise in major cities during the West Asian crisis. According to the Indian Oil Corporation Limited website, commercial LPG gas cylinders currently retail for 2078 rupees and 50 paise in Delhi. The revised prices for the 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinder went into effect today. Prices for household LPG cylinders have not changed nationwide in the interim. The government has made it clear that the price of commercial LPG cylinders, which are used by businesses and hotels, is set by the market, is not subject to regulation, and is updated monthly.
Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been increased by Rs.195.50 across India, making the costs above Rs.2,000 in major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru. From 1 February 2026, the price of commercial LPG cylinders has been increased by Rs.49. This hike applies to 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders used by hotels, restaurants, and other businesses in the food and hospitality sectors. In Delhi, the new price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder is now around Rs.1,740.50. Domestic LPG cylinders, which are mostly used by households, remain unchanged. The price rise for commercial cylinders may increase operating costs for businesses, while domestic users continue to enjoy the same rates.
