Currently, the price for a kg of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Aurangabad is Rs.94.20. CNG is a fuel that is safe and can be used as an alternative to autogas, diesel, and petrol. The carbon that is emitted by CNG is lesser when compared to most other fuels because of the low presence of sulphur and lead.
CNG prices are revised by the Government of India and depend on the natural gas prices in the international markets. The prices of CNG are revised every month in Aurangabad. Many CNG retail outlets are present in the city.
Several components can be installed in a car, called the CNG conversion kit, so that the fuel can be used. Some of the components that are part of the kit are screws, straps, required wiring, an ON/OFF switch, an advance timing processor, hose clamps, hoses, a filling nozzle, a pressure gauge, high pressure tubing, and a regulator.
However, the CNG cylinder and valve are not part of the kit. The cylinder is fitted at the rear of the vehicle. You can use the ON/OFF button to switch between CNG and gasoline. Using the CNG conversion kit will help you save money in the long run. However, maintaining and installing the kit is expensive.
The two types of the CNG conversion kits that are available in the country are the Sequential CNG Kit and Venturi CNG Kit. The different CNG conversion kit brands that are available are Longas, Bugatti, Bedni, Zavoli, Tomasetto, Tartarini, SKN, Unitax, Lovato Autogas, Landi-Renzo, and BRC.
