How to Login

In order to log into your MNGL account to pay your bill, all you have to do is:

1. Visit the website of MNGL.
2. Click on the "Pay Bill'' button on the top left navigation pane.
3. On the next page, enter your BP number in the field given.
4. Click on ''Go''.

To view the payment history, follow the steps given above but enter your BP number, email address, and mobile number and click on ''View History''.

Price of MNGL Gas

The price of MNGL gas with effect from 5 October 2019 are as follows (inclusive of all taxes):

1. Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal corporation area, Chakan, and Hinjewadi: Rs.55.50 per kg
2. Pune municipal corporation area, Fursungi, Ambegaon, and Pisoli: Rs.55.50 per kg

FAQs on Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited

• What is Piped Natural Gas (PNG)?

  PNG is primarily composed of methane (CH4), with trace amounts of other heavier hydrocarbons. Methane burns virtually entirely and has the lowest carbon to hydrogen ratio of any fuel, making it the cleanest. 

• Is there any storage space required for gas inside the house?

  No, storage space is not needed because MNGL laid the pipeline that transmits the gas. 

• What is the minimum penetration level requirement for MNGL?

  To be eligible for the PNG connection, at least 50% of the members must subscribe. 

• What are the installation charges for each member?

  In order to use this feature, you must spend Rs. 6000. The division is as follows: -A refundable security deposit of Rs. 5,000, interest-free, payable to PNG Connection Rs. 500 as an interest-free refundable security deposit towards petrol usage and an additional Rs. 500 as a non-refundable application cost. 

• Who owns and is responsible for laying the pipelines for PNG supply?

  MNGL is in charge of, laid, and owns the pipeline up to the customer's kitchen. In the event that the customer damages any equipment put on their property, only the client will be responsible for paying the necessary fees before any replacement or repairs are made. Polyethylene low pressure underground pipes are installed up to the building, and GI pipes are utilised for plumbing from the building's base to each individual home. 

• How is the bill generated?

  Based on the actual amount of petrol used, bills are created. Once every two months, a metre reader with a valid ID will visit your home. Alternatively, the customer may call customer service at (1800-266-2696) and provide the metre reading. In the event that the metre reading is not accurate, averaged or assessed bills will be produced. 

• What are the various modes of bill payment?

  A drop box will be installed in the Society Premises. Cheques can be dropped in the box for PNG bill payment. Other payment options such as ECS, Banks (AXIS, ICICI), Card payments are accepted at customer care walk-in centers. 

• What is the cost of Natural Gas?

  The cost of Natural Gas is Rs.34 per square centimetre. 

• Are there any non-usage charges?

  If the bimonthly petrol usage is less than 4 SCM, then at least 4 SCM. 

• If currently a resident chooses not to opt for PNG connection, how can they avail connection later?

  In addition to the Rs.6000, the customer who chooses to purchase a PNG connection later will be required to pay additional "Online Charges," which are now set at Rs.550.
