How to Transfer Money Through Kotak Internet Banking?

You can transfer money into a different account easily and in a secure manner. Follow the below-mentioned steps:

Steps to Add Beneficiary:

  • On the Net Banking page, select ‘Transfers and Payments’.
  • Select the option ‘Add/Manage Beneficiaries’ and add the details of the beneficiary who you want to transfer funds to.
  • Select the option ‘Add Transfer Type’ and click on IMPS.
  • Choose the type of IMPS transfer and put in the required details.
  • Verify the information that you have entered and hit the ‘Confirm’ button.
  • An activation code will appear on your registered contact number.
  • Enter the activation code and your beneficiary will be activated for fund transfer.

Steps to Transfer Money Through IMPS Using Account Number:

  • On the Net Banking page, select the option ‘Make a Transfer’.
  • Click on Immediate Payment Services (IMPS) and select the ‘IFSC’ option.
  • Enter the required details and select the ‘Submit Transaction’ option.
  • Cross-check the transaction details and select ‘Confirm and Transfer’.

How to Pay Kotak Credit Card Bill Through Kotak Net Banking?

In order to make credit card payment, you will first be required to register for Kotak Mahindra’s Net Banking facility. Thereafter, you can transfer the bill amount from your Savings Account to the Credit Card Account. Follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • Log in to Kotak Net Banking.

How to Generate Customer ID for Kotak Online Banking?

If you are a Kotak customer, a CRN will be the number located under your name on your Credit/Debit card.

For business banking:

  • Enter your corporate ID

Kotak Net Banking Password Reset

In case you need to generate a new password for your internet banking profile, you have to follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • Enter your Customer ID, Nick Name, or Forex Card Number.
  • Enter the text that is displayed in the box.
  • Select the box for ‘I have read and accept and Terms & Conditions’.
  • Next, you will be required to verify your information/details such as date of birth, mother’s maiden name, registered email ID and contact number. Choose any of the two questions and provide accurate answers.
  • Click on ‘Continue’ to proceed further.
  • Thereafter, you will be required to choose a method to generate new password.
  • The options that you have to choose from are:
    • Debit card/virtual debit card details
    • Credit card details
    • Secret questions
    • Physical PIN
  • Select a method and click on ‘Continue’.
  • In the last step, you will be required to enter a password of 6 characters and re-enter the same.
  • Select ‘Continue’ to proceed further.
  • Your new password has been generated. You can use this to log in to the Net Banking facility henceforth.

The customer care executives will assist you with your request. In case your online password re-generation service is blocked, you must call the customer care center or visit the nearest bank branch.

  4. What is DNC? How can I Register for this service?

    All customers who do not wish to receive or be contacted by bank representatives regarding various marketing activities done via multiple channels (phone, email, SMS, etc.) can easily opt out for the same by registering for the DNC service. The bank has made available the DNC option for customers who wish to opt out of marketing related activities carried out by the bank. Customers can register for the DNC service (de-register themselves from receiving marketing calls, emails or alerts) by following these steps:

    • You can put in a request for DNC at any Kotak Mahindra bank branch by submitting a fax or a letter.
    • You can contact the Kotak Mahindra 24-hour Customer Contact Centre via phone, email, fax or send them a letter stating your request.
    • You can send a DNC request via NetBanking. Log into NetBanking and go to the 'Requests' section or send it via mail by clicking on the 'Mail' section.
  5. Are there any charges levied for usage of the Kotak NetBanking Service?

    No, currently there are no charges applicable for using the Kotak Mahindra NetBanking facility.

    Itâ??s not even worth one star rating. This is the second time I had applied and got an atm card and itâ??s again showing itâ??s various way to not trust again. After few months the card will start declining wherever I have to pay, will say that the mpin is wrong even if itâ??s right, if you want to pay through google or paytm also it wonâ??t work. This was the last time I got any card from this bank.

    I am having a Platinum Debit card from Kotak Mahindra Bank. The daily withdrawal limit is sufficient. I don't get any benefits on the card but its easily accessible everywhere. I got a hidden charges of 150 rupees which was debited from my account. There is no charges for other ATM swipes and there is no limitation.

    I have a Salary account with them and the bank has offered a complimentary Credit card on the basis of this account. They have given me a Credit Limit of Rs.2.5 Lakhs, which I felt is quite a good one to have. One thing which let me down over here is their high interest rate. Also an added advantage is, they have good reward points system available with them.

    I am using domestic debit card of Kotak Mahindra Bank. The daily withdrawal limit was 25,000 rupees which was satisfactory. I am using this debit card for the last six months. There is no charge for other ATM swipe. ATM facilities are good and enough.

    "zero use for kotak rupay debit card"

    i applied for a kotak mahindra rupay debit card after surrendering my existing visa debit card. firstly for some strange reason kotak doesnt allow rupay debit card as a addon card to my existing visa card. hence they automatically blocked my visa debit card on applying for rupay card. next i tried using the kotak rupay debit card on various POS terminals and online transactions. but it was declined everytime. later i got to know that they mention that it cant be used online. but there is no mention of non usage at POS too. after i tried it at around 20-30 machines i wrote them an email. to which they replied that there rupay card is not enabled for POS yet. and its not happening anytime soon. WHILE OTHER BANKS' RUPAY CARD WORKS EASILY ONLINE AS WELL AS AT POS, KOTAK CHOSES NOT TO ENABLE THESE. this card is only usefull for taking out cash from atm and that too only 10000. i was left bitterly dissapointed and have finally blocked it for reissue of visa debit card.

    I'm a Kotak Platina Salary account holder which comes with a Kotak Platinum Debit Card. The Platinum Card holders has no withdrawal limit from Kotak and Non-Kotak ATM in india. Everything was going fine for last 1.5 year. I have been happily withdrawing cash around 10-15 times a month from Non-Kotak ATM. Suddenly they charged me with some CW Fee. Querying on that, I get to know that they downgraded my account upto five ATM transaction/Month. The reason of downgrading my account is many number of withdrawal of 300-400 INR.
