  1. The cylinder must be kept in a well-ventilated place, away from any heat source.
  2. The cylinder needs to be kept in a vertical position below the level of the gas stove or the ISI marked hot plate. The gas stove or hot plate must be placed on a non-flammable platform.
  3. It is advised to switch off the pressure regulator when the stove is not being used.
  4. Always let a qualified technician carry out repairs and replacements.
  5. If you are suspecting issues with the cylinder, contact your distributor immediately.
  6. The usage of cotton clothing is recommended over polyester, nylon, and other types of materials.
  7. You should never leave your stove/hot plate unattended when it is in use.
  8. Keep the children away from the cylinder and stove.
  9. Plastic and flammable items need to be kept away from the gas stove.
  10. The rubber tube requires regular checks to detect cracks/damage in order to replace it with "SURAKSHA" LPG hose sold by LPG distributor. The SURAKSHA rubber tube is ISI approved and offer excellent durability. For your safety, the rubber tube must be replaced every two years.
  11. Ensure the cylinder seal and weight are accurate while receiving a replacement as well as new connection.
  12. The distributor's assigned delivery person carries a weighing scale to weigh the cylinder in your presence.
  13. If you wish to disconnect your cylinder for any reason, please ensure that all the knobs on the stove and cylinder are turned off before disconnecting. You can follow the same methods for connecting as well.
  14. In case of leakage, you need to make sure:
    1. All the knobs including the pressure regulator are turned off.
    2. Do not turn 'off' or 'on' any electrical appliances.
    3. No lighter, incense stick or matchstick should be lit.
    4. Open the windows and doors for ventilation.
    5. Contact the distributor immediately.
    6. Contact the fire department, if necessary.

You can also request for a periodical inspection of LPG installation for a nominal fee. Please contact your distributor to arrange for an inspection.
