Eligibility Criteria

This scheme is applicable to mature women falling into the following categories:

4. Most Backward Classes. 
5. Beneficiaries under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY).

Documents Required

Benefits Provided Under PMUY 

The benefits provided under PMUY are given below: 

1. The Indian government extends financial assistance through PMUY connections, offering Rs.1,600 for a 14.2 kg cylinder and Rs.1,150 for a 5 kg cylinder. 
2. Security deposits for cylinders are as follows:  

1. Rs.800 for a 5 kg cylinder and Rs.1,250 for a 14.2 kg cylinder.
