Process to Link Aadhar Card with ICICI Bank Account for LPG Subsidy

Individuals who wish to receive the LPG subsidy in their ICICI account can choose to link their Aadhar card to the account for the same. Linking can be done in two ways: Online and Offline, with both of them elaborated below.

Online Linking of Aadhar with ICICI Bank Account

Individuals who wish to link their Aadhar card to their ICICI account through the internet can do so by following these steps:

• Login to your ICICI Bank internet banking account. 

• Navigate to the tab "Services Requests" and then click on "Update Aadhaar". 

• Once here, enter the Account number with which you wish to link your card. 

• Enter your Aadhar card number, mobile number, and your email ID, and submit the information. 

• The card will be linked to the account post this. 

Via iMobile App

The process to link the Aadhaar via the iMobile app is mentioned below: 

• Open the ICICI Bank iMobile app and log in using your Internet Banking ID and password, or your 4-digit PIN. 

• Tap Services, then Instabanking Services, and then Update Aadhaar. 

• Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number. 

• Tap Submit the Request. 

• You will receive a confirmation message once your Aadhaar has been successfully linked. 

Offline Linking of Aadhar with ICICI Bank Account

Individuals who do not have access to internet banking can choose to link their Aadhar card to their ICICI bank account through an offline mode as well, by following these simple steps:

1. Visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch.
2. Fill the “Stay Connected” form which is available in all branches.
3. Submit the form. A copy of the Aadhar card will also be needed along with the form.
4. The bank might ask for the original Aadhar card to be produced to process the linking.

Additionally, individuals who are opening a new ICICI account can link their Aadhar card directly at the time of opening said account. This can be done by providing the Aadhar details along with the account opening form.

Linking your Aadhaar with ICICI Bank Account via ATM

Given below is the step to link your Aadhaar with ICICI Bank; 

• Visit the nearest ICICI Bank ATM and swipe your debit card 
• Select language 

• Login with your ATM PIN 
• Select Aadhaar Updation in Menu

Linking your Aadhaar with ICICI Bank Account via Phone Banking

• Dial ICICI Bank’s Customer Care number 
• From the option menu, select your desired language 
• Press 1 for Banking Accounts 
• Enter your 16-digit Debit Card or 12-digit Account number and then enter your PIN 
• Press 1 to get your Aadhaar number updated once the Aadhaar Prompt is played 

• Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar number and confirm from your end to get your Aadhaar linked to your bank accounts.

Details Required to Link Aadhaar with ICICI Bank Account

The details that must be provided when linking Aadhaar with your ICICI Bank account are mentioned below: 

• Your original Aadhaar card (required for branch visits) 

• A self-attested photocopy of your Aadhaar card 

• Your ICICI Bank account number or 16-digit debit card number

Individuals can also use their mobile phones to link their Aadhar card to their account. This can be done by choosing the relevant tab in the app and entering the Aadhar number and contact details. 

Given below is the step to link your Aadhaar with ICICI Bank through mobile banking: 

• Open your iMobile app and login using your net banking ID and password or 4-digit PIN 

• Once you have logged in, click on ‘Services’, followed by ‘Instabanking Services’, and then click on ‘Update Aadhaar.’ 
• Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number and then click on ‘Submit the Request’.
