How is LPG Different from LNG? 

The two gases are different from one another, and LPG is stored differently from LNG in container vessels. While LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is propane, butane, or a combination of the two, LNG (liquefied natural gas) is methane. While direct usage of LPG is possible from the cylinder. Only once LNG has been converted to a gaseous state through regasification using a vaporizer can it be used as regular natural gas.
