- For every Rs.100 spent, you will earn 1 reward point.
- There is no cash back limit imposed by Standard Chartered allowing you to earn as much as you want.
- Reward points are valid for only one year and must be redeemed before they lapse.
How to apply
To avail the Standard Chartered ShopSmart Debit Card, you need to open a bank account with them. You can open a savings or current account. A bank account is required as it is a debit card, not a credit card. Your expenses and withdrawals will be deducted from your bank account balance. You can apply via the following avenues:

ShopSmart Debit Card FAQs
When will my reward points expire?
All reward points earned in a calendar year (1st January to 31st December) will be valid till June 30th of the next year. You must redeem your points before June 30th.
What should I do if I lose my Standard Chartered debit card?
If you have lost your debit card, report it immediately to Standard Chartered by calling the customer care hotlines. Your card will be blocked. A duplicate card will be sent to your registered address.
How long does a replacement card take?
The replacement card will be sent to your registered address within 7 days time.
What should I do if I forgot my ATM PIN?
You can reset your PIN online on the Standard Chartered website or through the phone banking desk.
Can I convert my current ATM card to the ShopSmart debit card?
Yes, you are allowed to convert to this card provided you are eligible for it. Please call the phone banking hotline for more information. You can also contact your bank branch.
