Are there any charges levied on debit card transactions done at petrol pumps or for IRCTC ticket bookings?
Yes, there is a certain percentage of fee that is applicable on petrol purchases and IRCTC ticket bookings done with your debit card. At fuel stations, a surcharge at the rate of 2.5% of the transactions amount or Rs 10 (whichever is higher) will be levied. For IRCTC ticket bookings, a Convenience fee, along with Payment Gateway charges at the rate of 1.8% to 2% of the transaction amount will be levied.
My Debit Card is about to expire. Do I need to apply for a new debit card?
If your card is about to expire, you do not need to apply for a new debit card. The new debit card will automatically be mailed to your registered address.
I have accidently damaged my current debit card. How can I get it replaced?
If your debit card is damaged and not usable, you can apply for a replacement by simply calling the RBL Bank customer care number and place a request for a replacement debit card. Once the request has been registered, it will be processed and the replacement debit card will be mailed to your registered address in a period of 7 to 10 business days.
