  • Mahindra Two Wheeler Insurance

Established in 2008, Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited (MTWL) is a part of the Mahindra and Mahindra group, one of the leading names in the Indian automobile industry. Mahindra and Mahindra has introduced a brand new range of two wheelers which includes scooters and motorbikes. Holding 65 years of experience and having a stronghold on the Indian automobile market, Mahindra has a keen and thorough understanding of the needs of the Indian customer. Each vehicle has been designed to serve different segments of the society and carries features which are only unique to that vehicle.

Driving, nowadays, has become an extremely stressful and life threatening activity. For anyone who has driven on Indian roads will know this to be true. Traffic rules are non-existent as people invent their own rules while driving. Given such harsh and difficult driving conditions, it has become essential to take all safety precautions while driving. Bike insurance has been designed to serve that very purpose. Not only that, as per the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, it is mandatory for all vehicles to be insured at least under a third party legal liability insurance policy, before the vehicle can be taken out to be driven in public places.

A two wheeler insurance policy helps protect your two wheeler from any damage that it may face while being driven or eve otherwise. An insurance policy will not only help cover the expenses of damage caused to a vehicle following an accident but also protect you from any third party liability which may arise following an accident. Overall, two wheeler insurance provides you with the peace of mind that you and your vehicle will be protected in case of a breakdown or a mishap.

Features & Benefits of Mahindra Bike Insurance:

For your Mahindra two wheeler, you can avail this facility which for settling payments following repairs to your vehicle. HDFC Ergo and Bajaj Allianz boast of a nation wide network of garages where you can get your vehicle repaired. With the cashless settlement facility, you don’t have to bear the cost of repairs to the vehicle from your own pocket. Based on the guidelines set down, the insurance company pays for the cost of repairs.
    • Roadside Assistance – When you are stranded in the middle of nowhere with no help in sight, Roadside Assistance can be your best way out. Roadside Assistance has been introduced to provide help to those stranded in a place due to an accident, or vehicle breakdown. The service aims to provide assistance like a fuel refill, spare key service, relaying important messages to your family or friends, mechanical assistance, locating a network garage for vehicle repair, etc.
    • Third Party Liability Coverage – Third party liability insurance is designed to protect you from any legal liability which may arise if the insured vehicle has caused any damage to any third party individual, resulting in their permanent disablement or death, or damage to any third party property. According to the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988, every vehicle must be covered by at least a Third Party Liability Insurance policy. This is the basic minimum level of insurance which every vehicle must have in order to be driven on the road. Both, HDFC Ergo and Bajaj Allianz provide Third Party Legal Liability cover as a part of their Two Wheeler Insurance policy.
    • Personal Accident Cover – One of the most important elements of a two wheeler insurance policy is the Personal Accident cover. In the event of an accident involving the insured vehicle, where the driver/owner of the vehicle suffers from permanent disablement or dies, the insurance company shall provide a compensation of a pre-fixed amount to the immediate family of the deceased. Personal Accident Cover for each policy is subject to terms and conditions. In some two wheeler insurance policies, personal Accident cover is a part of the standard policy. However, in some insurance policies, Personal Accident Cover may be an add-on which may be availed on the payment of a nominal premium over the basic policy premium.
    • Engine Protection Coverage – Mahindra vehicles have been designed to withstand the torturous Indian roads and driving conditions. As we know, the engine is the primary component of any vehicle and even the slightest damage can render the vehicle out of operational condition. It can not only compromise your safety but also affect the vehicle’s performance. Engine Protection Cover is a standard part of most two wheeler insurance policies which offer protection toward any damage which may be caused to the engine, as per pre-specified policy wordings.
