How to Change PAN Card Number in PayPal

Step 2 - To log into your PayPal account, enter the username and password

Step 3 - Click on the 'Proceed to Account Overview' option, which is displayed on the bottom of the page

Step 4 - Click on 'Gear Icon' 

Step 5 - Click on 'Account Options', after your profile appear on the screen

Step 6 - Click on ‘PAN’

Step 7 - Next, click on ‘Edit’

Step 8 - After clicking on edit, you can update the PAN details

Step 11 - You can change the PAN details by two methods and those are phone number and email address

Procedure to Change PAN Card Number in PayPal Account

Following are the steps through which you can change your PAN Card number in your PayPal account:

Step 1 - Visit www.paypal.com and enter such details as your email id and password to login to your account.

Step 2 - After you have logged in to your account, click on the ‘Proceed to Account Overview’ option at the bottom of your screen.

Step 3 -  At the top-right of your screen, next to the ‘Log Out’ option, a ‘Gear Icon’ is present. Click on this icon and your PayPal profile will appear on the screen.

Step 4 - Scroll down a bit on the aforementioned page and an option called ‘Account Options’ can be found. Under this option, a third option called ‘PAN’ is present. Click on the ‘Edit link’ to update your PAN Card details.

Step 5 - Once you have entered the aforementioned page, your verified PAN Card number can be seen in your PayPal account. You can make changes to the PAN Card number by simply clicking on the ‘Contact Customer Service’ link.

Step 6 - Once you try to contact customer service, you will be provided with two options to make changes to your PAN Card details – Changing PAN Number in PayPal by Call, and Changing PAN Number in PayPal by Email.

Changing PAN Card Number in PayPal via Phone

The following are the steps to change PAN Card number in PayPal account via phone number: 

1. Dial 18002123852 from registered mobile number.
2. You will receive one time password .
3. Enter the password for validation.
4. After entering the password, the PAN details can be updated on the website.

Changing PAN Card Number in PayPal via Email

The following are the steps to change PAN Card number in PayPal via email:

1. Write an email to the official email address of PayPal.
2. Give the subject name as ‘'Changing PAN Card details’
3. State that you wish to change your PAN Card number.
4. Provide the current and modified PAN details.
5. Send the mail after providing all the required PAN details.
6. You will receive an email from PayPal once your request to change PAN Card number is approved.

You can check your account on the website after a few days to check if your request for changing your PAN Card details have been accepted. You can also follow up on the same through email.
