Aadhar Mitra New UIDAI's Chatbot

The UIDAI has launched a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML)-based chatbot named 'Aadhaar Mitra' to enhance the resident experience. The chatbot is available in Hindi and English languages and includes features such as checking Aadhaar enrolment or update status, tracking Aadhaar PVC card status, and providing information on enrolment centre locations.

Additionally, residents can use the chatbot to register and track their grievances. Aadhaar Mitra is a chatbot that provides prompt and automated responses regarding the Aadhaar card   and its features. To access the chatbot, you can click on the blue 'Ask Aadhaar' icon on the homepage of the UIDAI website or resident portal and start chatting with the bot.

UIDAI’s Customer Relationship Management

UIDAI's modern Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution includes the Aadhaar Mitra chatbot as one of its various channels that can manage complaints, provide follow-up, and resolve issues efficiently. According to the Ministry of Electronics & IT, the CRM solution has been designed with cutting-edge features that aim to enhance UIDAI's service delivery to residents.

This new solution has the ability to handle multiple channels such as phone calls, chatbots, emails, social media, web portals, letters, and walk-ins, thereby enabling efficient filing, tracking, and resolution of grievances. The advanced features of the new CRM solution aim to improve UIDAI's service delivery to residents and currently assist in resolving almost 92% of CRM complaints within a week.
