  2. How long can a two-wheeler registered in any other state be used in Tamilnadu?

A vehicle registered in any other state can be used in Tamilnadu or any other state in India for a maximum period of 12 months. Yes, you can get a VIP number for your two-wheeler by filling up Form 20 e-application. Fancy numbers are in great demand and therefore allocated by way of auction.

  4. When should I renew the Registration Certificate of my two-wheeler?

The registration certificate for a two-wheeler is valid for a maximum period of 15 years. Once the RC is expired, it must be renewed by submitting all the vehicle related documents to the registering authority with which the vehicle is currently registered. The two-wheeler must be produced for the inspection of its roadworthiness.
