    Submission of Applications

    Once the RTO in Hyderabad receives an application for special number registration, they would organise all the applications alphabetically each day and assign the numbers in order subject to the following conditions and rules.

    The RTO registration authority is to be submitted an application Form RRMA by the owner of the vehicle. The RTO reserves all the special numbers within the range of thousand from the assigned last number in the order on the application date.

    1. A payment worth Rs.50,000 (Rupees fifty thousand only) as fee for one of these numbers: 1, 9, 999, 9999.
    2. A payment worth Rs.30,000 (Rupees thirty thousand only) as fee for one of these numbers: 99, 333, 555, 666, 777, 888, 2222, 3333, 4444, 5555, 6666, 7777 or 8888.
    3. A payment worth Rs.20,000 (Rupees twenty thousand only) for one of the numbers mentioned: 123, 222, 369, 444, 567, 786, 1111, 1116, 3366, 3456 or 4455.
    4. A payment worth Rs.10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) for one of the numbers mentioned: 3, 5, 6, 7, 111, 234, 306, 405, 789, 818, 909, 1188, 1234, 1314, 1818, 1899, 2277, 2772, 2345, 2727, 2799, 3636, 3663, 3699, 4545, 4554, 4567, 4599, 5678, 6336, 6633, 6789, 7227, 7722, 8118, 8811, 9009, 9099.
    5. A payment worth Rs.2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) for one of the numbers except those mentioned above in rule numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4. If there are applications for the same fancy number for four-wheelers and two-wheelers, priority will be given to four-wheeler applicants. Any current number is to be reserved with the payment of Rs.1000 (Rupees Thousand Only).

    Al the applications for allotment of two-wheeler numbers shall be put in a sealed drop box along with the applicable charges by 1 p.m. No application will be entertained to be put in the drop box post 1 p.m. on any day. The application number must be collected personally by the applicant under any situation.

    Payments are to be made in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in the name of Secretary, Regional Transport Authority of the District you are applying in from any reputed bank.

    If more than one application is submitted for a specific vehicle registration number in a given day, the allotment would be made through tenders in closed envelopes along with the RRMTA application form. The applications should enclose the applicable fee in form of a Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, Regional Transport Authority at 3. P.m. on the same day. The number would be allotted to the highest bidder out of all the applications. Applicants must be present at the time of auction failing to do the same would result in forfeiture of the application. The bid amount cannot be lower than the minimum fees decided by the authority for a particular number.

    The number registered under rules 1, 2 and 3 will be allotted to legal vehicles registered through a proper process under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and the applicable rules. The allotment will be cancelled if the two-wheeler is not produced at the RTO within 15 days from the date of number allotment. The cancelled allotment for a particular number will be immediately put back in the list of available numbers and will be re-allotted through the ser procedure of the RTO. If no one applies for that number, the same will be referred to the Transport Commissioner at intervals suggested by him for re-notification.

      In HDFC Ergo, its took 3 months to sent a hard copy to my place. The responsiveness was good in the customer care service.
