Axis Banking offers its customers round-the-clock SMS Banking service using which customers can carry out almost all banking transactions. For added convenience such as requesting information on customer’s savings account, an SMS with a specific keyword can be sent to +918691000002 or 56161600.
Customers of Axis Bank SMS Banking can avail information of their account in two ways:
Automatic alerts:
Through this facility, Axis Bank customers will receive automatic alerts on their registered mobile numbers for any transactions made through the card, mobile, or internet banking. Any other transactions that are made through the bank branch, cheque, or system, customers will receive SMS alerts for those transactions that are above Rs.5,000. If a customer is also registered for bill payments, an alert is sent to their registered phone devices informing that a bill is due for payment.
SMS requests for non-transactional services:
Customers can check their balance, find the status of the cheques, view the last three transactions, and keep a track of their demat account balances. All customers have to do is send an SMS with a particular keyword to the SMS banking numbers, mentioned above.

Send 'REGspace>Account number' to 09223488888 from your registered mobile number to sign up for SBI SMS banking by SMS. Your user ID and password will be sent to you by SMS. Through an SBI ATM, you may also sign up for SMS banking. Enter your ATM PIN after selecting mobile registration and swiping your debit card.
