Listed below is the step-by-step process of how to use Cent UPI:
Step 1: On your Android smartphone, download the UPI app from the Google Play Store. Read the user manual after opening the app. Click the 'Register' tab after everything is finished.
Step 2: The app will send a verification code to your mobile number.
Step 3: Mobile number: It's best to use the cell number that your bank has on file. In the event that you have two SIM cards, the app will ask you to select one. Input the SMS code to confirm.
Step 4: Registration form: You will have to fill up a registration form with your name, email ID, and a VPA of your choice. Agree to the T&C and sign up with Cent UPI.
Step 5: Login PIN: You will have to set a 6-digit PIN as your login PIN. This PIN is required to login to the app whenever you want to use it.
Step 6: Features of Cent UPI: Once you are registered and signed into the app, you will see the homepage of the app containing various features such as Send Money, Receive Money, Transaction History, etc.
Step 7: Link bank account: You need to link a bank account to the app before you can make any transactions. You are not limited to linking only a Central Bank of India bank account—you can link any number of bank accounts. The 'Add Bank Account' tab will be clicked. Through the drop-down menu, you may select your bank. It will show your bank account number.
Step 8: VPA: For each bank account, you can only select one VPA. You can keep your bank account and other personal information private when you use VPA. It is possible to produce up to 10 VPAs for a bank account.
Step 9: MPIN: Using the information from your debit card, you must create an MPIN. To verify the MPIN setup, an OTP will be produced and texted to the registered cellphone number.
